PRIDE Fundraiser

Our Washington Community is unique. We have incredibly involved and supportive families and have a team of teachers and staff that are dedicated to supporting and enriching our children. The PTO remains committed to ensuring the quality of education at Washington and continuing to build our amazing school community. Our students and staff need our support.

Over the course of the next 2 weeks, our goal is to raise $150,000. Our fundraising efforts are underway with a suggested donation of $500 per child. We recognize financial situations vary so we appreciate donations of any size. We hope to achieve 100% participation; any amount counts!

You may wonder why we are asking you for money. The district only funds so much. Washington’s quality of education relies on several additional programs that are funded by the PTO. That’s where this PRIDE CAMPAIGN comes in. Each year the PTO and Washington community come together to raise funds to enhance our children’s education. Our PRIDE campaign is our largest fundraiser of the year, where we raise over half of the funds needed for the year. The money raised goes directly to pay for our incredible STEM program, our gardening program through Explore Ecology, Children’s creative project (Dance and Theatre), the Kind Mind Program (Social emotional learning), as well as field trips, assemblies, classroom supplies, teacher support and community-building events throughout the year.

We are all in this together! Estamos Juntos Aqui!

Your support will set our school, our teachers, and most importantly, our children up for success! We will have volunteers at the front and back of the school each morning to answer any of your questions.
