PRIDE
Fund Raising Event

Our Washington Community is unique. We have incredibly involved and supportive families and have a team of teachers and staff that are dedicated to supporting and enriching our children. Our kids have faced many challenges this past year and our PTO remains committed to ensuring the quality of education at Washington and continuing to build our amazing school community. Now, more than ever, our kids and teachers need our support.

You may wonder why we are asking you for money. The district only funds so many positions. Washington’s quality of education depends on more support in the classroom. That’s where this PRIDE CAMPAIGN comes in. Each year the PTO and Washington community come together to raise funds to enhance our children’s education. Our PRIDE campaign is our largest fundraiser of the year, where we raise over half of the funds needed for the year. The money raised goes directly to pay for classroom assistants, our incredible STEM program, as well as room and art supplies, field trips, assemblies and for creating community-building events throughout the year

Over the course of the next 2 weeks, our goal is to raise $150,000. Our fundraising efforts are underway with a suggested donation of $500 per child. We recognize financial situations vary so we appreciate donations of any size. We hope to achieve 100% participation; any amount counts!
